1Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what is and is not allowed when using the
Moserly Services. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of
Service. It protects our Clients, their data, third parties and the integrity of the platform. Capitalised
terms have the meaning given in the Terms.
2Permitted use
You may use the Services for your own lawful business purposes — uploading your operational files, having
them validated and processed, and generating and downloading reports — in line with your subscription, your
assigned role, and these policies.
3Prohibited conduct
You must not, and must not permit any Authorised User or third party to:
- use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or harmful purpose;
- upload or process data you do not have the right or consent to upload, or that violates any person’s
privacy or intellectual-property rights;
- upload malware, malicious code, or files designed to disrupt or exploit the platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other Clients’ data, or the underlying
infrastructure, or to defeat multi-tenant isolation, authentication or rate limits;
- probe, scan, penetration-test, or reverse-engineer the Services without our prior written consent;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties, or use them to build or benchmark a
competing product;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data or content except your own data through provided features;
- misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or share credentials with unauthorised persons;
- interfere with, overload, or degrade the Services or the networks connected to them.
4Content restrictions
You are responsible for the legality of what you upload. Do not upload content that is unlawful,
defamatory, obscene, or that you are contractually or legally barred from sharing. If your files contain
personal or sensitive data of third parties (for example driver or employee details), you confirm you have a
lawful basis to process it and to have Moserly process it on your behalf under the
DPA. Do not upload payment-card numbers, government-ID numbers or other
sensitive identifiers unless genuinely required for a report and lawfully permitted.
5Security & integrity
Keep your credentials confidential, use strong passwords, and manage your users’ roles responsibly.

rather than exploiting or publicising it. Do not take any action that compromises the security, availability
or integrity of the Services or other Clients’ data.
6Fair & reasonable use
The Services are subject to reasonable technical limits (for example file-size and format limits, and
request/rate limits on public forms). Do not circumvent these limits or use automated means to generate
excessive load. We may apply fair-use limits to protect platform stability and other Clients.
7Third-party & AI features
Where the Services integrate third-party components (such as Google sign-in or the onboarding AI feature),
your use of those features may also be subject to the third party’s terms. When using the onboarding
Setup Assistant, upload only representative samples appropriate for drafting rules, and remember that
AI-suggested rules must be reviewed and confirmed by a human before use.
8Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, where appropriate, remove or disable offending content, throttle
usage, suspend Authorised Users, or suspend or terminate the account, with or without notice depending on the
severity and any legal obligation. Serious violations may be reported to the authorities. Enforcement under this
AUP is without prejudice to our other rights under the Terms.
9Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this AUP, a security concern, or misuse of the Services, contact
legal@moserly.com. We appreciate responsible disclosure.
